CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WESTFIELD — Mark W. Reynolds, 50, of Niagara Falls, was charged with driving while intoxicated, obstructing intersection and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle Friday on North Portage Street in the village of Westfield for an alleged traffic violation. An investigation found that Reynolds was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence. He was brought to jail for centralized arraignment.

SHERIDAN — Catherine E. Brach, 36, of Pittsburgh, Pa., was charged with aggravated DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed over 55 mph, refusal to take a breath test and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 6:54 p.m. on Friday on Route 20 in Sheridan for a speeding violation. Brach was found to be driving on a suspended license, and deputies reportedly found alcohol bottles in the vehicle. Brach later provided a breath sample of 0.25%. She is scheduled to appear in Sheridan Town Court later.

MAYVILLE — Bruce Kaus, 45, of Mayville, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree aggravated harassment. Deputies responded at midnight Saturday to a Mayville residence for a reported altercation. Kaus was taken into custody following an investigation and was transported to jail for centralized arraignment.

DUNKIRK — Kenneth J. Koch, 56, of Dunkirk, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies responded Friday to Dunkirk for an order of protection violation. An investigation found that Koch allegedly violated the order by making contact with a protected party. He is scheduled to appear in Dunkirk Town Court later.
