CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Alexander K. Latta, 27, of Mayville, was charged with second-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and fugitive from justice. Deputies responded at 2:47 p.m. Thursday to Potter Road in the town of Chautauqua. An investigation found that Latta allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with another person and had threatened that person with a deadly weapon. Latta was located a short time later with the assistance of a Sheriff’s Office K-9 and New York State Police K-9. Latta was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ SILVER CREEK — Shawn P. Piwko, 41, of Silver Creek, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday to a Silver Creek residence for a reported altercation. An investigation found that Piwko allegedly damaged property. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — William Sloan Jr., 32, of Sherman, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies conducted a home check Friday on Webber Road in the town of Chautauqua with the assistance of New York Division of Parole. Sloan, a convicted felon, was reportedly found in possession of a modified rifle and a controlled substance. He was transported to jail for centralized arraignment.

DUNKIRK POLICE

¯ Jessew J.Serrano-Soto, 25, of Dunkirk, was cited for an noise ordinance violation April 22.

¯ Joshua Warren, 30, of Dunkirk, was charged April 23 with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with blood alcohol content .18% or greater, and refusal to take a pre-screen.

¯ Martin Wisniewski, 47, of Dunkirk, was charged April 24 with petit larceny.

¯ Zachary Scott, 35, of Dunkirk, was charged Monday with two counts of second-degree assault.

¯ Julio Rosas, 59, of Dunkirk, was charged Tuesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, uninspected motor vehicle and no or inadequate plate lamps.

¯ Justin Schuk, 40, of Dunkirk, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Ellis Renfroe, 41, of Dunkirk, was charged Tuesday with petit larceny.

¯ Ruby Renaldo, 25, of Irving, was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated (child in vehicle), driving with blood alcohol content of .08% or more, and no or inadequate plate lamps.

¯ Sunshine Carroll, 49, of Fredonia, was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

¯ John Liddick, 34, of Dunkirk, was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
