State Police from Jamestown charged Patrick Benedetto, 60, of Jamestown, with driving while intoxicated Thursday.

Benedetto was pulled over for traffic violations on Second Street in the city and after failing several field sobriety tests, he was placed under arrest and transported to Jamestown barracks where he provided a breath sample of .10. Benedetto was issued tickets and released. He will be in the city of Jamestown Court on a later date.

— NAPOLI — State troopers charged Daniel Taylor, 43, of Cattaraugus, as a fugitive from justice.

Taylor was pulled over for speeding on Pigeon Valley Road and a check of his license revealed that he was wanted on a parole warrant out of Pennsylvania. He was issued traffic tickets, arraigned in the town of New Albion Court and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail.

— Lennox B. Wilson, 28, of Persia was chargd with second-degree falsely reporting an incident on April 25.

Troopers reported Sunday they were investigating a report of a pulled fire alarm on March 9 at St. Bonaventure University and determined Wilson had pulled the fire alarm in the library.

Wilson was arraigned in Allegany Town Court, where he was released without bail. He is to be back in court in June.
