CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

— SILVER CREEK — Around 5:21 p.m. Saturday, deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to an apparent overdose in the village.

Upon arrival one of the occupants in the subject’s vehicle was identified as an Amanda Sendall, 36 of Gerry. Through the course of the investigation, Sendall was found to be in possession of three separate controlled substances and in possession of a set of plastic stun gun knuckles.

Sendall was charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Sendall was released with tickets to be at the Town of Hanover Court later.

— WESTFIELD — At about 1 a.m. Saturday, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies along with officers from Westfield Police Department responded to a residence in the town for a reported unwanted person.

At the scene, law enforcement did locate the suspect 40-year-old Rachel Blanchard of Mayville hiding in the woods. Blanchard was taken into custody on outstanding warrants from the Sheriff’s Office for second-degree aggravated harassment and two counts of third-degree criminal mischief. Blanchard was additionally charged with trespass due to the incident.

Blanchard was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail where she awaited centralized arraignment.
