CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

• CHAUTAUQUA — Priscilla Torres, 44, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree harassment. Deputies followed up with an harassment complaint that occurred June 12 at Chautauqua Institution. An investigation found that Torres allegedly sent threatening text messages to another person. Torres is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.

• PORTLAND — Dominic Fox, 20, of Fredonia, was charged with petit larceny and trespass. Hunter Evans, 21, of Brocton, was charged with trespass. Deputies investigated a trespassing complaint Monday at a town of Portland property. An investigation found that Evans and Fox were allegedly trespassing on privately owned property. Fox was additionally charged for allegedly taking an item without permission. Both are due in court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

• GERRY — Leah Comstock, 26, of Forestville, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Troopers stopped Comstock for a traffic violation Friday on Route 60 in Gerry. Comstock was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests and was issued a ticket to appear in Gerry Town Court later.

• SINCLAIRVILLE — Aaron Raynor, 34, of Sinclairville, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Troopers and sheriff’s deputies responded Saturday to Hillside Estates Mobile Home Park for a report of an intoxicated person attempting to fight people. Troopers learned that Raynor was a convicted felon in possession of two rifles. Raynor is scheduled to appear in Gerry Town Court later.

• GERRY — Minerva Torres, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs — Leandra’s Law. Troopers stopped Torres for traffic violations Saturday on Route 60 in Gerry. Torres was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests. Torres was transported to police barracks where she was evaluated by a drug recognition expert and determined to be impaired by drugs. Torres later provided a blood sample at UPMC Chautauqua and was released with tickets to appear in Gerry Town Court later. Four children in Torres’ vehicle at the time of the traffic stop were turned over to a third party.
