CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ ARKWRIGHT — Ida L. Weber-Smith, 55, of Arkwright, was charged with petit larceny, second-degree criminal contempt, driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired, reckless driving and speed in zone. Deputies responded at 11:38 a.m. Thursday to the town of Arkwright for a report of a person attempting to steal property. An investigation found that Weber-Smith allegedly took property and violated an order of protection. Weber-Smith was located a short distance away driving where she was allegedly observed speeding and driving recklessly. An investigation into her condition while driving found that she was impaired by drugs. Weber-Smith was taken to centralized arraignment and held on $1,000/$2,000 for the charges.

¯ RIPLEY — James L. Murray, 33, of Ripley, was charged with second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies responded at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday to South State Street in Ripley for a reported altercation. It was alleged that Murray struck another person in the head while that person was holding an infant. Once in custody, Murray was reportedly found with a controlled substance. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

DUNKIRK POLICE

¯ Tyler Davis, 27, of Forestville, was arrested July 14 and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree unlawful possession of personal identification, and petit larceny.

¯ Heather Dean, 43, of Jamestown, was arrested July 15 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Bryan Martinez-Morales, 21, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 17 and charged with second-degree obstruction of government administration and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

¯ Elijah Rivera, 25, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 17 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Kevin Dejesus-Rivera, 30, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 17 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Christian Ayala-Gonzalez, 35, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 17 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Ontario Eldridge, 36, of Dunkirk, was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and possession of large-capacity feeding device.

¯ Lamorris Jones, 36, of Dunkirk, was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and possession of large-capacity feeding device.

¯ Larry Brooks, 34, of Dunkirk, was arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal nuisance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ GOWANDA — Breanna B. Hall, 26, of Gowanda, was charged with first-degree robbery. While armed with a knife, Hall reportedly stole money from a cashier July 20 at Honks Grape and Grain in the town of Persia. No injuries were reported. Hall was taken into custody Friday in Gowanda without incident and arraigned in Persia Town Court. She was remanded to jail after bail was set. The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau and Gowanda Police Department investigated the robbery.

¯ COLDSPRING — Shelly M. Hubbard, 33, of Coldspring, was taken into custody Friday on an arrest warrant out of Randolph Town Court. She was processed, arraigned and released with a ticket to appear back in court later.

¯ Jeremy M. Ramsey, 43, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree assault following a domestic incident. Ramsey fled the scene before deputies arrived and was located Saturday in Jamestown by the Jamestown Police Department. He was turned over to deputies, processed and then released with a ticket to appear in South Valley Town Court later.

¯ GOWANDA — Danielle M. Manning, 38, of Gowanda, was taken into custody at 1:41 p.m. July 21 after deputies came into contact with her on an unrelated incident in the village of Gowanda. Manning was found to have two active bench warrants in Cattaraugus County Court. She was being held in jail until she could appear in court.

¯ Marshall D. Jacobs, 36, of Coldspring, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a firearm stemming from a welfare check July 10. He was found with a firearm while being a convicted felon. Jacobs was processed and is scheduled to appear in Coldspring Town Court later.
