CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER — Zachary R. Roche, 21, of Silver Creek was charged Thursday with two counts of second-degree harassment. Around 8 p.m. Sheriff deputies responded to an address in the Town of Hanover for a disorderly person. Upon further investigation it was discovered that Roche allegedly made physical contact with another individual at the residence. He was charged and then allegedly made threats to cause harm to an individual at the residence while in the presence of deputies. He was transported to the Hanover sub-station for processing and later transported to the county jail.

WESTFIELD POLICE

Daryle Ackendorf, 54, of Westfield, was charged Tuesday with second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and second degree harassment. According to police, officers responded to an address in the town of Westfield for a report of a domestic dispute in progress. Officers arrived on scene and took Ackendorf into custody. The Westfield Fire Department responded to treat a victim with injuries. Afterward, that person was taken to Westfield Memorial Hospital. Officers said the charges were related to the injured person and a second victim at the residence. He was taken to the county jail for arraignment.
