¯ ELLERY — William R. Mitchell, 42, of Ellery, was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies responded at 9 p.m. Sunday for an harassment complaint in the town of Ellery. An investigation found that Mitchell allegedly harassed another person under the age of 17 earlier that evening. Mitchell is scheduled to appear in Ellery Town Court later.
¯ POMFRET — Cammeron M. Scott, 31, of Buffalo, was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies and Fredonia officers responded at 11:12 p.m. Saturday to the Burger King on Bennett Road in the town of Pomfret to check the well-being of an individual in a vehicle. An investigation found that Scott was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Pomfret Town Court later.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
¯ RANDOLPH — Mark Hamilton, 49, of Jamestown, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. Hamilton was stopped Sunday on Interstate 86 in Randolph for a traffic violation. He was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests. Hamilton later provided a breath sample of 0.19%. He was processed and released with a ticket to appear in Randolph Town Court later.
