¯ LITTLE VALLEY — A traffic stop on Route 353 has led to charges for two men after the vehicle came back as unregistrered. Charles Bennett, 48, of 95 Buffalo St., Gowanda was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license when the stop was made at 2:06 a.m. Sept. 21. Deputies then searched the vehicle and found crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Bennett was charegd with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance while passenger Cedric Cobb, 36, of Buffalo was charged with drug paraphernalia. Both men were released with appearance tickets for town court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

¯ MAYVILLE — At approximately 6:03 p.m. Monday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the town of Chautauqua for a report of an altercation. An investigation found that Alana J White, 35, of Sherman did subject another individual to unwanted physical contact. White was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. White was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Program.

¯ Vincenzo Vaughn, 19, of Fredonia, was arrested Aug. 27 and charged with a noise ordinance violation.

¯ Angel Rios, 20, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 28 and charged with criminal trespass and second-degree harassment.

¯ Norman Geddis, 23, of Fredonia, was arrested Aug. 28 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Shawnette Marshall, 23, of Fredonia, was arrested Aug. 29 and charged with petit larceny.
