¯ MAYVILLE — Jamie C. Weary, 27, of Mayville, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest. Deputies responded at 9:36 p.m. Sunday to a disorderly person complaint in the village of Mayville. It was found that Weary had allegedly destroyed another person’s property. The incident took place in the presence of a child under the age of 17 years old. Weary was transported the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ A 15-year-old juvenile is facing a second-degree criminal mischief charge. Officers were alerted at midnight on Oct. 20 that two windows at the Barcelona Harbor Pier had been shot at by what appeared to be a BB gun. The windows were destroyed and valued at $1,700. After a review of camera footage, police were able to identify the juvenile suspect reportedly responsible for the damage. The teen is set to appear in family court at a later date.
