CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

¯ CHARLOTTE — On Nov. 16, an investigation was conducted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division. Through their work, it was found that Richard Echevarria, 62 of Hall Road, Cassadaga, was found to be in possession of a Glock pistol without a valid New York state Pistol Permit. Echevarria was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and will answer the charges out of the Town of Charlotte Court.

¯ POLAND — At 1:13 a.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single motor vehicle accident on Route 394. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Patrick Guimond, 56, of Falconer. Further investigation found Guimond to be driving while intoxicated. Guimond was later released with tickets to be in the Town of Poland Court at a later date and time.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

¯ Meliza Velazquez Vega, 43, of Jamestown, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after being called to Jamestown High School at 3:05 p.m. to deal with a disorderly juvenile. Officers found the youth, who was taken into temporary custody and taken to the Jamestown Police Department Juvenile Bureau. Police report the youth had been running around the downtown area causing issues for businesses throughout the day. Due to the youth’s repeated actions, police charged the youth’s mother, Velazquez Vega, and charged her with endangering the welfare of a child for failing to exercise reasomable due diligence in control of her child. She was released to be back in court later.

DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Lewis Campbell, 43, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with third-degree assault.

¯ Raymond Santiago Rodriguez, no age listed, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 15 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Xavier Rodriguez-Perez, 33, homeless, was arrested Nov. 20 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Allen Miller, 41, of Olean, was arrested Wednesday and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Anthony Gallo, 33, of Olean, was arrested Wednesday and charged with petit larceny.
