LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Michael A. VanEvery, 38, of Sherman, was charged with third-degree grand larceny and third-degree burglary. With the assistance of the New York State Police, VanEvery was located and turned over to Lakewood-Busti police on an outstanding arrest warrant for an incident that occurred Nov. 13 in the village of Lakewood. VanEvery allegedly entered a garage without permission and took a golf cart. VanEvery was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ Jamie L. Warner, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny and third-degree burglary. Officers were called Friday to a shoplifting at Walmart on Fairmount Avenue. Warner was observed walking out of the store with $150.86 with of merchandise reported to be stolen. Warner was processed and is scheduled to appear in court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ FRENCH CREEK — Blake A. Perry, 21, of Sherman was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and no/inadequate lights. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 10:51 p.m. Saturday on Route 426 in the town of French Creek. An investigation found that Perry was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was processed and is scheduled to appear in court later.

¯ NORTH HARMONY — Jason P. Walters, 36, of Irvine, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed not reasonable and prudent. Deputies responded at 8:10 p.m. Sunday to a crash on Route 394 in the town of North Harmony. An investigation found that Walters was allegedly intoxicated. He was processed and is scheduled to appear in court later.

¯ HANOVER — Michael P, Faraci, 40, of Angola, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass. Deputies responded Thursday to a reported disturbance in the town of Hanover. An investigation found that Faraci allegedly broke a window unlawfully while gaining access to a residence. He is scheduled to appear in court later.
