Four charged in pair of city busts
Narcotics investigators from multiple agencies in Chautauqua County executed two search warrants in the city of Dunkirk around 6 a.m. Friday.
The Dunkirk Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, and FBI Safe Streets all participated in the search warrants. Dunkirk Police Special Response Team made the entrance at 201 Deer St. while the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s SWAT made entrance at 123 Zebra St.
As a result of the searches, investigators seized 6.2 grams of cocaine, 7.38 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, a high-capacity magazine and $726 in currency.
Victor Morales, 21, Leonarda Morales-Colon, 51, Glory Torres-Rivera, 23, and Michael Morales, 23, were all charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. All four were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department where they will be arraigned in City Court on their charges.
