JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Fernando N. Velazquez Nazario, 36, no address listed, was charged with aggravated criminal contempt, aggravated family offense and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers at 3:35 p.m. Sunday observed Velazquez Nazario walking with a female during a patrol of Baker Street and Prather Avenue. The woman had a valid stay away order of protection in place. Velazquez Nazario was taken into custody without incident and was allegedly later found with two suboxone strips. He was being held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

SENTENCING

¯ Philip Whitfield, 30, of Fredonia, was sentenced Friday by County Court Judge David Foley to an indeterminate state prison sentence of 2 and 1/3 years to 7 years for violating his conditions of probation on a conviction of third-degree robbery. Whitfield was sentenced to a term of five years of probation on the robbery charge in County Court in August 2021.

¯ Jose Colon-LaFontaine, 34, of Dunkirk, was arrested on two bench warrants Feb. 3.

¯ Bryseen Williams, 22, of Fredonia, was arrested Feb. 9 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation.

¯ Kristian Wright, 22, of Sinclairville, was arrested Feb. 9 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Shamori Houston, 42, of Jamestown, was arrested on a bench warrant Feb. 9.

¯ Nicholas Whitfield, 42, of Fredonia, was arrested Feb. 19 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating with suspended registration.

¯ James Rosati, 65, of Silver Creek, was arrested Feb. 20 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Jeffrey Lawton, 38, of Jamestown, was arrested Feb. 20 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

¯ Adam Thornton, 41, of Fredonia was arrested Feb. 21 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Thornton was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

¯ Alexander Pryll, 26, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 22 and charged with harassment.

¯ Jonathon Dannheim, 29, of Buffalo, was arrested Feb. 22 and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment, two counts of criminal contempt, and second-degree harassment.

¯ Louis Medina, 37, of Fredonia, was arrested Feb. 26 and charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal tampering and criminal mischief.

¯ Aron Sikes, 29, of Fredonia, was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with criminal mischief.

¯ Peter Calanni, 22, of Fredonia, was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with third-degree assault.

¯ Kaleb Rybij, 20, of Fredonia, was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with third-degree assault.

¯ Fernando Martinez, 42, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, third-degree burglary and possession of burglar tools.

¯ David Rose, 53, of Portland, was arrested March 3 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

¯ Melinda Monroe, 24, of Westfield, was arrested March 3 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Leanne White, 39, of Dunkirk, was arrested on a warrant March 3.

¯ Dale Miller, 41, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 4 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Michael Doner, 29, of Salamanca, was arrested March 4 and charged with petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Cameron Jensen, 20, of Jamestown, was arrested March 5 and charged with underage possession of alcohol and an open container law violation.

¯ Mark Menclewicz, 58, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 5 and charged with petit larceny.
