¯ Miguel A. Monge Osario, no age or address listed, was charged with second-degree obstructing governental administration, failure to comply, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal. Officers at 5:30 a.m. Thursday observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn onto East Second Street. The vehicle reportedly failed to comply and proceeded to accelerate up an adjacent road before stopping in front of a residence a short distance away. Monge Osario then attempted to walk away despite officers’ command to stop. He was later processed and is scheduled to appear in court later.
¯ Timothy D. Peters, 58, of Fairmont, West Virginia, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Officers responded at 1:43 p.m. Thursday to the north side of the city for a possibe trespass inside a condemned residence. Peters was located inside, and an investigation determined he was allegedly in possession of a pistol, shotgun and rifle. Peters is reportedly a convicted felon in Pennsylvania. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
