¯ Darren Mitchell Jr. was charged with second-degree criminal mischief after an incident Tuesday afternoon. City officers responded to the area of McKinley Avenue and Charles Street around 1:30 p.m. for a domestic incident where a male was possibly chasing a female. Officers made contact with the Mitchell and a female where it was discovered that the Mitchell had damaged property in the home prior to officers arrival. He was transported to the city jail where he was being held pending arraignment.

¯ PORTLAND — At about 8:01 p.m. April 13, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on Webster Road for multiple traffic violations. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Michael L. Buckner, 42, of Erie, Pa. Through further investigation, it was found that Buckner was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs. Buckner was subsequently taken into custody and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, failing to stop at stop sign, improper or unsafe turn without signal, and moved from lane unsafely. He is scheduled to be in the Town of Portland court later.

¯ MAYVILLE — At around 10:35 p.m. April 10, deputies conducted a traffic stop on West Lake Road. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Theodore A. Mulholland, 65, of the village. Further investigation found Mulholland to be operating a motor the motor vehicle while intoxicated. Mulholland was charged with DWI and will answer for his charges in Town of Chautauqua Court later.

¯ The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office investigated a complaint that allegedly occurred at an address in the city of Jamestown. It was alleged that Benjamin R. Haskin, 35, of the city, acted in a reckless manner which did create a substantial risk of injury to another person. He was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He was issued a ticket to appear in the city of Jamestown Court later.

¯ MAYVILLE — At around 1 p.m. April 14, Titiana Berrios-Vega, 34, an incarcerated person within the Chautauqua County Jail, allegedly caused physical injury to another female who is incarcerated. This event took place within the recreation yard within the jail. Due to Berrios-Vega being incarcerated on first-degree assault, Berrios-Vega was charged with second-degree assault, a felony. She was arraigned via Centralized Arraignment within the jail.
