LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jenifer L. Washburn, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny. It is alleged that Washburn swapped items and failed to scan multiple items at self-check out Tuesday at Walmart. Washburn then allegedly passed all points of sale without proper payment. Washburn is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Raheem Alongdae Butts, 32, no address listed, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment. Officers responded at 4:34 a.m. Saturday to the area of Lafayette Street and Isabella Avenue for a gunshot complaint. An investigation found that Butts allegedly fired a gun at another person. The gun was later located by officers. Butts has a prior felony conviction and is unable to possess a firearm. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment in court. Police did not state if anyone was injured in the shooting.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SHERMAN — John R. Lutgen, 24, of Sherman, was charged with petit larceny. Deputies investigated a larceny that took place April 18 on West Main Street in the village of Sherman. It was learned that Lutgen allegedly stole a generator from the West Main Street property. He was issued an appearance ticket Tuesday and is scheduled to appear in court later.

DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Christian Ayala-Gonzalez, 35, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 13 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Corey Winans, 33, of Hamburg, was arrested April 14 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Filemon Herrera Diaz, 41, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 14 and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, failure to stop at stop sign, and failure to yield right of way.

¯ Eli Lorenzo Baltazar, 19, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 15 and charged with second-degree attempted assault and second-degree menacing.

¯ Gabrile Soto, 30, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 19 and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and uninspected motor vehicle.

¯ Angel Ramos, 23, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 19 and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.

¯ Samuel Texidor, 40, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 20 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.

¯ Dakota Sugg, 28, of Silver Creek, was arrested Friday and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

¯ Angela Goetz, 40, of Dunkirk, was arrested Friday and charged with five counts of petit larceny. She was also arrested Saturday and charged with another count of petit larceny, along with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

¯ Alex Colon Ruiz, 40, of Dunkirk, was arrested Saturday and charged with four counts of petit larceny.

¯ Leanne White, 39, of Hanover, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

SENTENCING

¯ Samantha Coy, 33, of Silver Creek, was sentenced Wednesday by County Court Judge David Foley to one to three years in state prison for violating the terms of her probation. Coy was convicted of aggravated DWI, a class E felony, in Erie County. Her probation was transferred to Chautauqua County, and the violation occurred when Coy was re-arrested in January 2023.
