CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

¯ At around 11 p.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Bennet Road in the village of Fredonia. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Dakota O. Cordell, 25, of Dunkirk. Further investigation found Cordell to be operating driving while impaired by drugs. Cordell also was operating without a driver’s license and a unregistered motor vehicle.

In addition, he was also found to be in possession of a loaded large capacity ammunition feeding device, and disassembled shotgun and AR-15 Rifle. Cordell was transported to Pomfret substation. He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of firearm, DWAI, unlicensed operation and having an unregistered motor vehicle.

¯ SHERMAN — At around 10 p.m. Staurday, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hart Road. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Travis Garrity, 30, of Erie, Pa. Further investigation found Garrity to be driving while intoxicated. He was released with tickets to appear in the town of Sherman Court later.

DUNKIRK POLICE

DEPARTMENT

¯ Jordan Moreland, 36, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 24 and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlicensed operator.

¯ Keshavian Durden, no age listed, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 27 and charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, obstructing government administration, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to comply, and moving from lane unsafely.

¯ Xavier Rodriguez Perez, 34, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 29 and charged with petit larceny.
