COUNTY COURT

¯ Justin Meacham, 41, of Falconer, was sentenced Monday by County Court Judge David Foley to a determinate state prison sentence of three years plus three years of post-release supervision after he was convicted of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony. The conviction is the result of an incident that occurred in May 2022 in the city of Jamestown where Meacham was in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. Meacham pleaded guilty to the charge in March. He was sentenced as a non-violent predicate felon due to having multiple felony convictions within the past 10 years.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ HANOVER — Jacob E. Altweis, 25, of Hanover, was charged with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies were called at 6:51 p.m. Monday for an unwanted person in the town of Hanover. An investigation found that Altweis allegedly menaced another person with a knife while in the presence of children. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

FREDONIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Donn Pflueger, 64, of Forestville, was arrested May 3 and charged with driving while intoxicated, moving unsafely and failure to keep right.

¯ Zachary Natello, 21, of Orchard Park, was arrested May 12 and charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

¯ Mark Szocki, 61, of Dunkirk, was arrested May 12 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Emma Cockerel, 19, of Fredonia, was arrested May 12 and charged with second-degree criminal nuisance.

¯ Megan Wright, 20, of Fredonia, was arrested May 12 and charged with second-degree criminal nuisance.

¯ Audrey Brown, 20, of Fredonia, was arrested May 12 and charged with second-degree criminal nuisance.

¯ Gianna Catanzaro, 20, of Fredonia, was arrested May 12 and charged with second-degree criminal nuisance.

¯ The following people were arrested on bench warrants: Leanne White, 39, of Dunkirk on April 24; Dakota Wilson, 25, of Dunkirk, on April 26; Kristian Wright, 22, of Gerry, on April 26; Larry Houser, 38, of Westfield, on April 27; Jesse Wohnhas, 26, of Erie, Pa., on May 9; and Melissa Pasquale, 28, of Fredonia, on May 14.
