LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Mathew A. Wright, 39, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny and third-degree burglary. Wright is alleged to have taken $94.03 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Friday. Wright was found to have previously been trespassed from Walmart properties. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
¯ Kevin N. Young, 33, of Jamestown, was taken into custody on an active Lakewood-Busti police arrant. Young was wanted to failure to appear in Busti Town Court for an incident that took place in 2022. He is scheduled to appear in court later.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Michael D. Johnson, 37, and Christine M. Johnson, 37, were each charged with petit larceny. Officers responded Thursday to a shoplifting complaint at Wegmans and learned both Johnsons allegedly took items and passed all points of sale. Both are scheduled to appear in court later.
¯ Jason Galarza, 34, no address listed, was charged with petit larceny. Officers responded Thursday to Wegmans for a shoplifting complaint and learned that Galarza allegedly left the store with two hats. He is scheduled to appear in court later.
¯ Kevin N. Young, 33, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers called at 8:40 p.m. Sunday to Dunham and Duqesne avenues in Celoron for a suspicious situation and well-being check. It was reported that multiple people may be passed out in a vehicle. One of the occupants, identified as Young, was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in court later.
¯ Angie M. Tubbs, 18, no address listed, was charged with making a false written statement. Officers concluded an investigation stemming from a domestic incident complaint taken days prior. It is alleged that Tubbs provided police with a written statement that she knew to be false. Tubbs is scheduled to appear in court later.
¯ Jimi Jo Sobczak, 47, no address listed, was charged with petit larceny. Sobczak allegedly took two cans of beer from Kwik Fill in Falconer without paying for them on July 25. He is scheduled to appear in court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ MAYVILLE — Vanessa E. Escalante, 23, of Buffalo, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed in zone. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 3:10 a.m. Sunday on South Erie Street in Mayville. An investigation determined that Escalante was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.
¯ HANOVER — Kaela S. Jimerson, 25, of Perrysburg, was charged with third-degree assault. Deputies responded Sunday to a reported assault in the town of Hanover. An investigation found that Jimerson allegedly struck another person multiple times, causing physical injury. Jimerson is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ WARREN, Pa. — Dylan K. Sugden, 28, Fredonia, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on July 31 with criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, theft of secondary metal and loitering and prowling at night time from an incident that occurred on July 31 in Sugar Grove Twp.
