CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
¯ CARROLL -- On Oct. 12, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office received a report of a stolen riding lawn mower in area of Sandberg Road. On Tuesdasy, the property was recovered, and Joshua C. Warner, 36, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Warner be in town court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY COURT
¯ MAYVILLE -- District Attorney Jason Schmidt announced that Dakota S. Sugg, 28, of Silver Creek, pleaded guilty Wednesday to third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a Class D felony, as part of a plea agreement proposed by the Chautauqua County District Attorney's Office, and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Andrew Hall.
At the time of his plea, Sugg was also indicted on another charge. In addition to his indicted cases, Sugg had several pending matters in local justice courts across northern Chautauqua County involving damages to the personal property of other individuals.
As part of his plea agreement, Sugg's pending charges were settled and he has agreed pay restitution for property damages alleged in his pending cases. He will be sentenced in Chautauqua County court by Judge David Foley on Dec. 18 to an indeterminate term of state prison of three to six years.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY COURT
¯ Ronald Daniels, 35, of Olean, pleaded guilty to seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The incident occurred on or about May 18, in the city of Olean when Daniels allegedly possessed a controlled substance. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22, 2024.
¯ Michael Zarzecki, 51, of Allegany, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny. The incident occurred between September 2018 and October 2021 in Cattaraugus County when Zarzecki allegedly stole property valued in excess of $50,000. Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 18.
¯ Amy Kochbrauen, 42, of Franklinville, was sentenced to three years of probation for a conviction of driving while intoxicated. The incident occurred June 3.
