JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
• Christopher W. Smith, 40, no address listed, was charged with fugitive from justice and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle at 12:13 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Ivy Street and Foote Avenue. An investigation found that Smith, a passenger in the vehicle, was wanted by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department in Wisconsin. During a search, Smith was allegedly found in possession of 1 gram of fentanyl. Smith was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

— STOCKTON — At about 10:26 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to Stockton-Hartfield Road for a report on a larceny in progress. After an investigation, it was alleged that Season Brigham, 44, and Lawrence Alexander, 38, both of Brocton did enter a camper and remove items. They were also found to be in possession of several items that were reported stolen. Both were charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. Both will return to court later.
— Deputies received information Sunday that 19-year-old Louis A. Segura, who was wanted on warrants, was at a residence on Webster Road, Fredonia before 10 a.m. Sunday. Upon investigation Louis was taken into custody on the warrants and charged with resisting arrest. He was transported to county jail for arraignment.
