CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
• HANOVER — Robert K. Shumaker, 43, of Forestville, was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and third-degree menacing. Deputies and state troopers responded at 3:03 a.m. Wednesday to Hanover for a disorderly person. An investigation found that Shumaker allegedly made threats to cause physical harm to another person. It was later learned that he also allegedly made threats to cause physical harm and attempted to place another person in fear of imminent serious physical injury. Shumaker was processed and transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
• Matthew J. Sedlmayer, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded at 11 p.m. Wednesday to the south side of the city for an unwanted person. It was learned that the victim had a valid stay away order of protection against Sedlmayer, who was inside the victim’s residence. Sedlmayer was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
