CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– MAYVILLE – Peter Galardo, 42, a resident of the Chautauqua County Jail, was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt. It is alleged that between April 7 and April 17 Galardo, while incarcerated, was communicating via phone and electronic means with a party with whom he had a valid order of protection.

– PORTLAND – William Burch, 35, of Brocton was charged Wednesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. It is alleged that he was seen driving an all-terrain vehicle that was reported stolen from a farm on the Chautauqua County Rails to Trails in the town of Portland.
