– Alvin J. Jusino, 29, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 9:39 a.m. Monday in the area of Newland and Broadhead avenues. The can hit the officer in the leg, but the officer was able to catch Jusino while other officers caught up. The officer who was hit by the garbage can was cut and had pain in his knee prompting a trip to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment.
