WOMAN CHARGED IN PURSUIT,

DRUG POSSESSION

A 47-year-old woman is facing numerous charges after a vehicle pursuit Friday.

Renne L. Wolfe was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, third-degree unlawful fleeing in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and numerous traffic citations.

At around 9:36 p.m., officers of the Jamestown Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for an observed traffic infraction in the area of Newland Avenue and Myrtle Street. Once officers activated the emergency lights to conduct the traffic stop, the vehicle failed to comply leading officers on a vehicle pursuit through the city. The vehicle came to a stop at a dead end in the town of Ellicott and Wolfe began to flee on foot attempting to further evade arrest.

Officers were able to quickly take the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle into custody without further incident. Wolfe also had an outstanding felony warrant out of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. A search of the vehicle was conducted by officers.

During the search, officers located 18 grams of methamphetamine, a quantity of cocaine, numerous Acetaminophen Hydrocodone Bitartrate pills and Amphetamine Dextroamphetamine pills, a digital scale, and packaging materials inside of the vehicle.

Wolfe was held in the City Jail pending arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Roneicha D. Holmes, 31, of Jamestown, is facing three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief after an incident Saturday night.

Officers of the second platoon responded to an address on the North side of Jamestown for the report of a domestic incident around 10 p.m. Through an investigation it was found that Holmes became disorderly in the residence and damaged property in the presence of children.

She was transported to the city jail, where she was being held pending arraignment.

— Anthony Ortiz Morales, 24, of Jamestown, is facing numerous charges stemming from an incident Saturday evening.

At 8:30 p.m. officers observed Morales operating a motorcycle on Park Street near Newland Avenue. He was not wearing proper safety equipment and has a suspended drivers license. Officers also determined that the motorcycle had a suspended and expired registration and lacked insurance.

Officers were also aware that Morales had an outstanding warrant from the Jamestown Police Department. Officers conducted a traffic stop and while attempting to take Morales into custody on the warrant, he began to resist arrest by both pulling away and attempting to flee.

During the incident a pocket knife came from his pocket.

After a brief struggle he was taken into custody. In a search incident to arrest, officers located a quantity of fentanyl concealed in his possession. Additionally, while resisting arrest Morales damaged the property of another person. He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest. He was held pending arraignment.
