– Markeel D. Hilson, 28, of Buffalo, and Tyrone L. Long Jr., 27, of Buffalo, were charged at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday after officers allege they were consuming cannabis at the time of the check. Officers searched the vehicle and report finding methamphetamine and U.S. currency. Both Hilson and Long were arrested and taken to the city jail, where officers say it was found Hilson had allegedly concealed cocaine and fentanyl inside his body. Hilson was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. Long was charged with consumption of cannabis in a motor vehicle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
– Isaiah L. Conyer, 44, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree assault after police responded to a report of a domestic incident on the city’s west side at 7:41 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived at the scene Conyer and the victim were already separated. Conyer allegedly was involved in a verbal domestic incident that escalated to a physical altercation during which Conyer allegedly hit the victim four to five times in the left eye, causing physical injury. The victim was treated on scene and transported to UPMC Chautauqua for further evaluation. Conyer was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
