— GOWANDA — A Gowanda woman is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a teen last month.
On Oct. 18, at 6:40 p.m., Gowanda Police responded to a disturbance on Jamestown Street. Officers were informed that a group of juveniles were walking on the sidewalk on Jamestown Street.
Amber Kettle, 42, a resident of Jamestown Street, was involved in a confrontation with the group, of which she was previously acquainted with. The confrontation then escalated to a physical altercation, in which Kettle allegedly attacked a 15-year-old female by pulling her hair and punching her in the face, causing minor injuries.
Kettle was arrested by Gowanda Police on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, and child endangerment. Kettle was released on an appearance ticket with the Town of Persia Court.
— GOWANDA — A Brant woman was arrested by Gowanda Police after failing to appear in court for a prior offense.
Amber Pisa, 28, was located and arrested at 5:54 p.m. on Oct. 26 for a prior trespassing charge by Gowanda Police. A warrant was issued for her arrest by the Town of Persia Court.
Pisa was arraigned in Persia Town Court and was released on her own recognizance to reappear in court at a later date.
