CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– FREWSBURG – Kenneth H. Yocum, 76, of Frewsburg was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18% or higher, and moving from lane unsafely following a traffic stop on Falconer-Frewsburg Road around 9 p.m. He will answer to the charges in Carroll Town Court.
– STOCKTON – Alexander J. Peden, 34, of Sinclairville was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and failure to keep right following a traffic stop on Route 380 around 6 p.m. He will answer to the charges in Stockton Town Court.
– ELLINGTON – Richard E. Rasmussen, 21, of Cherry Creek was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher, aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, improper passing and following too closely after being involved in an accident on Route 83 shortly before 8 p.m. He will answer to the charges in Ellington Town Court.
JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Patricia Pearson, 49, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a vehicle she was riding in was pulled over at 6:53 p.m. Saturday on Forest and Hazeltine avenues. Pearson was allegedly found with 5.4 grams of methamphetamine and 1.1 grams of cocaine. She was charged and processed at the city jail before being released with an appearance ticket.
– Jose E. Roman, 38, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt at 1:26 p.m. Saturday after officers on patrol saw him walking on Washington Street knowing Roman allegedly had a valid order of protection against the person he was walking with. Roman was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Mattie L. Larson, 21, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated (.18% BAC or higher), driving while intoxicated per se, uninspected motor vehicle and operating without insurance at 10″30 a.m. Friday after city police officers responded to a reported erratic driver on the city’s north side. Larson was charged, taken to the city jail to be processed and released with traffic tickets to be in Jamestown City Court later.
– Heidi L. Lauer, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with DWI, DWI per se and moving from lane unsafely at 2:16 a.m. Friday after officers pulled a vehicle over on the city’s west side for a traffic infraction. Lauer was taken to the city jail to be processed and released with traffic tickets to be in Jamestown City Court later.
– Ryan J. Freeman, 24, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and resisting arrest at 8:06 a.m. Monday after officers responded to a 911 call on the city’s south side. During their investigation, officers found Freeman allegedly hiding in a bathroom shower. Freeman allegedly had an active order of protection requiring him to stay away from the person in the home. When officers told Freeman that he was under arrest, he allegedly began to resist. After a brief struggle, officers arrested Freeman and took him to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
