CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– CHAUTAUQUA – Jonathan Barnes, 47, of Mayville was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies responded to a report of an order of protection violation in the town of Chautauqua around 10:30 p.m. June 4. He was given an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.
– HANOVER – Dwayne White, 19, of Dunkirk was charged June 4 with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, and speeding following a traffic stop on Route 20. He will answer to the charges in Hanover Town Court.
– CELORON – Christopher Jacobs, 41, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, felony DWI Leandra’s law, DWI per se, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, unlicensed operator and speeding following a traffic stop around 9 p.m. on Dunham Avenue. He will answer for his charges in the Town of Ellicott Court on a later date and time.
– CELORON – Hunter Brown, 31, of Leon was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and no lights following a traffic stop around 11:30 p.m. on Dunham Avenue. He will answer for his Charges in the Town of Ellicott Court on a later date and time.
ELLICOTT POLICE
– Dwaine R. Pangborn, 22, of Falconer was charged with third-degree criminal trespass on June 4. Ellicott police responded to a trespass complaint on May 12 where it is alleged Pangborn refused to leave the Fenner Elementary School property when asked to leave. Pangborn will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Sarah E. Johnson, 47, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny on June 6 at 3 p.m. after Ellicott police responded to a shoplifting complaint at an Ellicott business where it is alleged Johnson exited the premises without paying. Johnson was processed at the Ellicott Police Department and released with an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Devin M. Dabic, 19, of Falconer was charged with second-degree menacing on June 8, at 11:45 a.m. after Ellicott police officers responded to a person with a weapon on East Falconer Street. Dabic allegedly displayed a knife to a resident. Dabic will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Joseph M. Taylor, 37, of Falconer was charged with third-degree assault on June 8 after police responded to an incident on E. Falconer Street where it is alleged Taylor punched a person in the face and bit the person’s right hand, causing cuts to both. Taylor turned himself in at the Ellicott Police Department, was booked and released with an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Cheyenne S. Foster, 24, of Falconer was charged with third-degree criminal trespass on June 4 after officers responded to a trespass complaint. It’s alleged Foster refused to leave Fenner Elementary School on May 12 when asked to leave. Foster will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Garrett R. Culver, 38, of Carroll was charged with fugitive from justice on June 3,at 8:36 p.m. after Ellicott police officers pulled a vehicle after allegedly seeing the driver commit a traffic violation. Culver allegedly had an outstanding arrest warrant from the state of Maine. Culver was taken into custody and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment. Culver will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Teri A. Gonzalez, 36, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 5:51 a.m. Saturday after officers responded to a domestic incident on the city’s south side. Officers learned that during the course of the domestic dispute, Gonzalez allegedly kicked an interior door, causing it to strike the male victim. The man’s lip was cut and the door broke. Gonzalez was charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.
