JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Joseph Helms, 43, and Cody Reichenbach, 31, both of Jamestown, were charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, possession of burglar’s tools, and third-degree criminal tampering at 1:11 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a reported burglary in progress at a north side address. Officers allegedly saw a man exiting the residence, later identified as Joseph Helms, who was taken into custody. According to the police report officers then cleared the residence and found another male identified as Cody Reichenbach. Officers say the men forced entry into the residence and caused damage inside. Both were charged and taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned.

– Tori R. Carlson, 32, of Randolph was charged with petit larceny at 4 p.m. Monday after officers responded to the Tops Market on Washington Street for a reported petit larceny claim. Officers learned Carlson allegedly stole merchandise from the store. She was still on scene and was charged and taken to the city jail before being released with an appearance ticket.

– Amanda D. Ferguson, 41, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny after officers patrolling near Tracy Plaza, 200 E. Third St., allegedly saw a woman stealing flowers from Tracy Plaza. Ferguson was charged and taken to the city jail before she was released with an appearance ticket.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– HANOVER – Jaralyn E. Majak, 36, of Hanover was charged with second-degree menacing at 10:56 p.m. Tuesday after deputies responded to a reported incident on Alleghany Road, Hanover. Majak allegedly displayed a dangerous instrument during the incident, reportedly causing fear of serious physical injury or death. Majak was charged and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for a CAP arraignment.

Dunkirk Police Department

— Angel Ramos, 25, of Fredonia, was arrested June 30 and charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

— Jerry Small, 56, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 1 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

— Shane Miller, 33, of Portland, was arrested July 3 and charged with second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

— Rachel Clarke, 49, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 9 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

— Joshua Coffman, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested Monday and charged with petit larceny.
