JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Ramsey J. Huddleston, 45, was charged with trespassing at 11:26 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a prowler complaint at a north side address. Through investigation, it was determined that Huddleston was allegedly on another person’s property without permission. Huddleston was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Rochelle Leak-Brown, 30, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a north side home for a reported domestic incident. Officers learned that Leak-Brown had allegedly violated an order of protection by hitting another person at the property. Leak-Brown was charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.
– Alexis Lopez, 42, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and having an outstanding New York State Parole warrant at 4:41 p.m. Monday after officers on a saturation patrol detail in the area of Fulton and East Eighth streets saw Lopez outside an address on E. Eighth Street and were aware Lopez had an outstanding state parole warrant. Officers approached Lopez and told him he was under arrest. Lopez allegedly refused to comply and attempted to run inside the residence to avoid being taken into custody. Officers chased Lopez into the house and were able to take him into custody. He was additionally charged, issued an appearance ticket for the new charges and taken to the city jail on the parole warrant.
– Zachary A. Graves, 29, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:16 a.m. Wednesday after officers on patrol near Prendergast Avenue and East Fifth Street saw Graves traveling east on Fifth Street knowing Graves had an outstanding arrest warrant from Jamestown City Court. Graves was allegedly found in possession of hydrocodone. Graves was taken to the city jail before being released with an appearance ticket to be in Jamestown City Court later.
ELLICOTT POLICE
– Three youths face charges after allegedly damaging property in Celoron Park at 3:47 p.m. Tuesday. Logan Swanson, 18, of Celoron, Kenyan B. McBride, 18, of Celoron and Gerald A. Leighton IV, 18, of Busti were all charged with third-degree criminal mischief after Ellicott police responded to a criminal mischief complaint at Celoron Park after the youths allegedly damaged park property. The youths will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Keishla Rivera-Perez, 28, and Xovier Nieves, 41 , of Falconer were charged with endangering the welfare of a child at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 10 after officers responded to a check the well being call. It’s alleged Perez and Nieves left a 5-year-old child alone in their hotel room for a substantial amount of time. Perez and Nieves were each given an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Erik V Kopp, 53, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment on Monday after officers responded to a domestic incident. Kopp allegedly made threatening comments to both people at the location as well as allegedly damaged property inside the residence. Kopp was found later after a warrant was obtained for his arrest. Kopp was charged and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment. He will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
