JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Noah DA. Smith, 19, of Jamestown, was charged Nov. 20 with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and having an outstanding arrest warrant. According to police, at about 4:30 a.m., officers responded to a city business for a reported trespass complaint. Officers arrived on scene to find Smith allegedly inside the business. Smith, police said, had an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Jamestown City Court, and was placed into custody without incident. Upon further investigation, it was found that Smith was in alleged possession of a quantity of liquid methadone, and a small quantity of cocaine. He was taken to Jamestown City Jail and will be in city court later.
– Jose Tochimani-Garmon, 21, of Jamestown, was charged Nov. 18 with four counts of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, and resisting arrest. According to police, at about 1 a.m., officers were dispatched to an Eastside residence for a suspicious vehicle complaint. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle, with Tochimani-Garmon inside. While speaking to occupants of the vehicle, Tochimani-Garmon allegedly fled on foot toward his residence, and after a brief foot pursuit, was placed into custody. Upon further investigation, it was found that Tochimani-Garmon allegedly provided alcohol to two juveniles under 18 and two other 20-year-old passengers, and consumed the alcohol in the vehicle with them. Tochimani-Garmon was taken to the city jail, and will be in city court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– Justin Pryll, 35, of Dunkirk, was charged Nov. 18 with failure to keep right, speeding, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated DWI. According to officials, at about 6:06 p.m., deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident in the town of Arkwright. Following an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Pryll, was determined to have been allegedly operating his vehicle while intoxicated. Pryll was placed into custody, and will be in Arkwright Town Court later.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Logan J. Frentz, 41, of Westfield was charged Nov. 17 with aggravated harassment, criminal tampering, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. According to police, at about 9:40 a.m., officers responded to an East Main Street address for a reported domestic incident. It was reported to police that Frentz allegedly had been calling and texting the victim after being asked to stop. Frentz had also threatened to “cut” the victim’s cable and coincidentally, the internet service went out. Officers located Frentz at his home. During an investigation, Frentz was found to be in alleged possession of a loaded pistol and the pistol had a large- capacity magazine inserted inside of it. Further investigation found that Frentz also was in alleged possession of a rifle inside his home that had two more large-capacity feeding devices with it. Frentz was placed into custody without incident, and taken to Chautauqua County Jail.
– Ronald L. Erskine, 56, of Westfield, and Elisa A. Dennis, 54, of Westfield were charged Nov. 15 with second-degree harassment. According to police, officers received a complaint from a town of Westfield resident who reported and had photographic proof that Dennis and Erskine had been going past the resident’s residence, and parking outside it for several months for an estimated total of over 100 times, police said. Officers had talked to Dennis and Erskine in September regarding the complaint, and issued a warning to stay away from the area. Police said at the beginning of November, the alleged activity continued. Dennis and Erskine will be in Westfield Town Court later.
