JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Destiny C. Sanneman-Butler, 25, of Jamestown, was charged Nov. 23 with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and Mandy M. Hepler-Brady, 48, of Jamestown also was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. According to police, at about 8:47 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at West Eighth and Main streets. During the investigation, it was discovered that the driver Sanneman-Butler, and passenger Hepler-Brady were in alleged possession of a loaded handgun. Both were taken into custody without incident, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. They will be in Jamestown City Court later.
– Omar Rivera, 45, of Allentown, Pa., was charged Nov. 22, with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, and other traffic violations. According to police, at about 9:36 p.m., officers were on patrol in the area of Washington and West Fourth streets when they stopped a vehicle for observed traffic violations. Upon further investigation, it was found that Rivera allegedly was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Rivera was placed into custody without incident, and taken to city jail. He will be in city court later.
