JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Brandon J. Whitmore, 41, of Jamestown was charged Jan. 25 with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, and other traffic violations. According to police, at about 5:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the snow at Falconer and Cowing streets. Upon further investigation, it was found that Whitmore allegedly was operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated. Whitmore was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail where it was determined that his blood-alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit, police said. Whitmore was released and will be in Jamestown City Court later.
– Jamie Moore, 49, of Jamestown, was charged Jan. 27 with second-degree criminal contempt. According to police, at about 3 p.m., officers responded to a westside address for an order of protection violation. Police said officers had knowledge of a valid order of protection. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Moore and the victim. It was discovered that Moore allegedly had been messaging, and calling the victim. Moore was placed into custody, and taken to the city jail. He will be in city court later.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Anthony L. Anzalone, 50, was charged Jan. 25 with aggravated criminal contempt, second-degree assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. According to police, at about 9:35 p.m., officers responded to the Bosco Trailer Park, located at 611 Busti-Sugar Grove Road for a well-being check. Upon further investigation, officers learned that a domestic incident had occurred, and while in the presence of a young child, Anzalone allegedly had struck a female victim in the rib cage, right eye, and face, causing serious injuries. Anzalone was placed into custody without incident, and taken to Chautauqua County Jail. He will be in Busti Town Court later.
