Man charged after police chase in Jamestown

A 24-year-old is facing charges after fleeing police early Saturday.
Joseph I. Chadwick was charged with third-degree unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, having a felony arrest warrant and other traffic tickets.
At approximately 2:45 a.m., officers were patrolling the city near North Main and Second streets when Chadwick was observed driving a vehicle. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Chadwick who failed to comply and led officers on a brief vehicle pursuit. Chadwick was eventually stopped and placed into custody. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was held pending arraignment.
