CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

– Sierra A. Evans, 20, of Brocton, was charged May 21 with fourth-degree criminal mischief. According to officials, at about 1:17 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a criminal mischief complaint in Brocton. Through investigation, it was alleged that Evans had damaged the property of another person. Evans was placed into custody, and will be in Portland Town Court later.

– Ronald A. McClaran Jr., 29, of Falconer, was charged May 20 with DWI, consumption/alcohol in a motor vehicle, and speeding. According to officials, at about 9:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 380 in the town of Stockton. The operator of the vehicle was identified as McClaran, further investigation found McClaran allegedly to be driving while intoxicated. McClaran was placed into custody, and will be in Stockton Town Court later.

– Qumane Santiago, 27, of the Chautauqua County Jail, in Mayville, was charged May 18 with second-degree attempted assault. According to officials, at about 7:30 a.m., the Criminal Investigation Division received a complaint of an incident taking place in the county jail. It was reported to investigators that an incarcerated individual was reported to have struck a corrections officer in the face attempting to cause him physical injury in an effort to prevent him from carrying out his official duties. After an investigation, Santiago was sent to centralized arraignment, and will be in Chautauqua Town Court later.

– Trevor J. Kneer, 26, of Sherman, was charged May 19 with second-degree criminal contempt. According to officials, at about 1:20 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an address in the town of Sherman for reports of an order of protection violation. Through investigation, it was found that Kneer allegedly did violate an active order of protection. Kneer Placed into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized processing. He will be in Sherman Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Connor A. Dale, 19, was charged May 20 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and having active bench warrants. According to police, at about 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the northeast side for a report of a male attempting to enter vehicles. Officers located Dale, who was in the area, and matched the description that was provided. Officers, police said, were aware that Dale had active bench warrants through Jamestown City Court, and subsequently placed him into custody before taking him to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in city court later.

– Chet A. Anthony, 33, of Jamestown, was charged May 20 with being a fugitive from justice. According to police, at about 11:36 a.m., officers were on patrol on the north side, when they observed Anthony, who was known to be wanted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Offices in Pennsylvania for cruelty to animals. Anthony was placed into custody, and taken to the city jail, where he is awaiting extradition.

– Tonya S. Thwing, 44, of Jamestown, was charged May 20 with driving while ability impaired by drugs, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. According to police, at about 4:20 a.m., officers responded to Tops Friendly Markets, 738 Foote Ave., for a report of a female asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle that was in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the operator, Thwing, and during the investigation, officers determined that Thwing allegedly was operating the vehicle while under the influence of drugs. When officers, police said, attempted to place her into custody, she pulled away from officers and allegedly failed to comply with verbal commands. Following a brief struggle, she was placed into custody without incident. She was taken to the Jamestown City Jail where officers conducted an inventory of her property. During the inventory, police said, officers located a quantity of methamphetamine packaged for sale, as well as hydrocodone, and alprazolam that were not prescribed to her. Officers also recovered drug paraphernalia. She will be in Jamestown City Court later.

– Katherine Morse, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of failure to exercise control of a minor, and two counts of curfew violation. According to police, at about 12:46 a.m., officers were called to the downtown area for a group of juveniles that was causing a disturbance. Officers located two juveniles, ages 13 and 14. Morse, the mother of one of the juveniles responded to the scene, and advised that she was responsible for both juveniles. Both juveniles left her Northside residence, and allegedly were being disorderly throughout the city. She was placed into custody, and taken to the city jail. She will be in city court later.

TOWN OF CARROLL POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Nicole Walker, 46, of Makawao, Hawaii, was charged May 20 with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and trespassing. According to police, at about 4:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to 216 N. Pearl St., Frewsburg, for a well-being check. Further investigation determined that Walker allegedly was trespassing at a local business, and refusing to leave. Walker was placed into custody, and when officers attempted to place Walker in a patrol car, she allegedly refused multiple lawful orders, hindering officers in the performance of their duties. She will be in Carroll Town Court later.
