CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— At around 2:17 a.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Falconer Street in the City of Jamestown. The operator was identified as Nathan H. Dossey, 45, of Jamestown. Further investigation found Dossey to be driving while intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and No/Inadequate Tail Lamps. He will answer for his charges in the City of Jamestown Court.
— WESTFIELD — Around 11:13 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 394 for failing to dim their headlights. The operator was identified as Tammy Moore, 56, of Angola. Moore was found to be driving while intoxicated and was charged, processed and subsequently released with appearance tickets.
— BEMUS POINT — Around 2:25 a.m. Monday, deputies conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle having no/inadequate plate lamps. The vehicle was being operated by Christopher Rotunda, 20, of Westfield who was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was charged, processed and subsequently released with appearance tickets.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Ross S. Costanzo, 38, was charged with driving while intoxicated.
On May 22, at approximately 1:49 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at Harrison and Winsor streets for an observed traffic violation. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver, Costanzo, a resident of Jamestown, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Costanzo was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail without further incident. Costanzo also received several other uniform traffic tickets.
— A Jamestown man is facing second-degree assault charges.
At about 1:01 p.m. Friday, officers of the Jamestown Police Department responded to an address on the North side. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim. After further investigation it was discovered that the victim, and the suspect, Wade S. Pfleuger, 45, were involved in a verbal dispute over property. During the altercation Wade punched the victim multiple times causing the victim serious physical injury. Wade was located on scene and taken into custody without incident.
He was being held pending his arraignment.
