CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

— HANOVER — At around 11 p.m. Saturday the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Allegany Road. The operator was identified as Michael E. Davis, 58, of Dunkirk. Further investigation found Davis to be driving while intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and failure to stop at a stop sign. He will be in the town of Hanover court at a later date and time.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— A pair of city residents are facing charges after an incident June 10.

Officers responded to a report of a disorderly person at 7 p.m. in a South East side residence. On scene officers met with Jomar Tapia, 32. It was discovered that as a result of an argument Tapia had damaged property and was placed into custody. While officers were attempting

to control the scene William Tapia, 57, proceeded to grab a large 2 by 4 piece of lumber attempting to reach another subject with it. William Tapia was advised multiple times to drop it and he refused. William Tapia was also placed into custody.

Jomar Tapia was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and was held pending arraignment. William Tapia was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and was booked and released to be back in court later.

— Adrienne D. Myers, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated.

At approximately 11:26 p.m. June 4, officers conducted a traffic stop at Baker and Chapman streets for an observed traffic violation. During the investigation, it was determined the driver, Myers, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Myers was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail without further incident. Myers also received other uniform traffic tickets.

After processing, she was released.

— Craig H. Leslie, 57, of Johnstown, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated.

At approximately 12:53 a.m. June 6, officers conducted a traffic stop at West Fourth and Washington streets for observed traffic violations. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver, Leslie, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

He received several other uniform traffic tickets. After processing, he was released.

— Teanna K. Morano, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated.

On June 12, at approximately 1:35 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at West Sixth Street and Hoyt Alley. A subsequent investigation revealed Morano was operating the vehicle while

intoxicated. Morano was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. She is facing additional traffic tickets. After being processed, she was released on an appearance ticket.
