JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Arthur S. Norene, 48, of Jamestown, was charged June 17 with aggravated criminal contempt, third-degree assault, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. According to police, at about 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a southside residence for a reported domestic dispute. During the investigation officers made contact with Norene, and determined that he allegedly had assaulted the victim before forcibly restraining the victim. Upon further investigation, officers discovered that the alleged incident happened while a valid protection order issued by Jamestown City Court was in effect. Norene was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in city court later.

– Radon F. Wright, 44, of Jamestown, was charged June 17 with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and speeding. According to police, at about 1:20 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on the north side. During the investigation, it was found that the vehicle’s operator, Wright, allegedly was driving while intoxicated. He was placed into custody, and taken to the city jail without incident. Wright will be in city court later.

– Jillian J. Francis, 43, of Jamestown, was charged June 16 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police, at about 1:41 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at Lakeview Avenue and Crossman Street due to an observed traffic violation. During the investigation, it was revealed that the driver of the vehicle, Francis, was in alleged possession of a small quantity of cocaine. She was placed into custody without incident, and taken to the city jail. She will be in city court later.

– Zachary B.R. Christopherson, 24, was charged June 16 with DWI. According to police, at about 8:52 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Foote Avenue for traffic infractions. Through investigation, it was found that Christopherson was operating the vehicle allegedly in an intoxicated condition. He was placed into custody with incident, and later released. He will be in city court later.
