JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Phillip E. Hinkley, 55, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

At approximately 7:13 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a local business on the south side of the city for two unattended juveniles. Through investigation, it was found both juveniles were alone and had rode an ATV to the store, and without helmets. Officers made contact with the father, Hinkley, who was supposed to be in charge of the juveniles. Hinkley was arrested without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was being held pending

arraignment. The juveniles were turned over to other family members.

— Andre S. McQuiggan, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with felony first-degree menacing and felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

At 1:52 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a south side address for a reported past tense domestic dispute. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the victim. Upon further investigation, it was found that McQuiggan brandished a knife at the victim, causing the victim to be in fear of physical injury. McQuiggan was taken into custody without incident, and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was held pending arraignment in City Court.

— Mitchel C. Southwick, 35, of Orchard Park, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se.

At approximately 12:35 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at Washington and West Sixth streets. A subsequent investigation revealed that Southwick was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Southwick was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He was released on an appearance ticket and is to be in Jamestown City Court later.
