JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Michael C. Demarco, 47, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of second-degree menacing and felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 11:06 p.m. July 3 after officers responded to a south side business for a reported person with a weapon. Officers arrived on the scene and found a male later identified as Demarco barricaded inside of an office of the business with a knife. After brief verbal commands, Demarco was subsequently taken into custody without incident. Officers spoke with bystanders who told officers that Demarco had allegedly swung the knife in the direction of two separate people. Demarco was taken to the Jamestown City Jail and then taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

– Krystafur J. Bowman, 31, of Buffalo was charged with driving while intoxicated, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and traffic violations at 2:10 a.m. July 4 after officers pulled a vehicle over after its driver allegedly committed several vehicle and traffic infractions. Bowman was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Joshua Eddy, 38, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment, second-degree harassment, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, disorderly conduct and a city code violation for littering at 6:06 p.m. July 9 after officers patrolling the area near Riverwalk Park investigated a littering complaint. While gathering information from several subjects in the park, Joshua Eddy became upset with officers and threatened to punch one of the officers. Eddy refused to provide his pedigree information and continued to yell and swear in the public park in the presence of several citizens. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.

– Lisa George, 44, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia at 3:40 p.m. July 9 after officers responded to an east side home for a narcotics investigation reported by Chautauqua County Probation Officers. Upon further investigation, it was discovered George was allegedly in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine, digital scales, and other paraphernalia. George was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail until she could be arraigned.

Area Police Reports

– Christina M. Park, 40, of Jamestown, and Burdette G. Thomas, 49, of Jamestown, were charged after a street check at 8:22 a.m. Thursday on Prendergast Avenue near Wilson Place. Officers were on patrol when they allegedly saw Park, who had a known warrant for failing to appear in Jamestown City Court. Park was accompanied by a male who allegedly provided officers with a false name but was later identified as Thomas, who was found to be an absconder from Pennsylvania parole. Park and Thomas were taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned. Thomas was charged with false personation and being a fugitive from justice.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– ARKWRIGHT – Samantha J. Coleman, 37, was charged with second-degree criminal trespass at 6:52 p.m. Wednesday after deputies responded to a trespass complaint in the town of Arkwright. Coleman allegedly entered and remained unlawfully in a building on Cable Road. Coleman was charged and taken to the county jail for centralized arraignment.

– NORTH HARMONY – Joshua J. Aman, 41, of Celoron was charged with DUI (previous conviction within 10 years and traffic citations at 6:06 p.m. July 9. Aman will be in North Harmony Town Court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

– LAKEWOOD – Graham T. Kelly, 30, of Westfield was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right and side window tint violations at 11 p.m. July 9 after a traffic stop on Chautauqua Avenue in Lakewood. Kelly’s driver’s license had allegedly been suspended and officers reportedly found a controlled substance and loaded firearm in the vehicle. Kelly was processed and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
