ELLICOTT POLICE

– Joseph A Ferino, 58, of Falconer was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree criminal mischief on Aug. 3 after Ellicott police responded to a domestic dispute where it is alleged Ferino physically fought with a person and damaged property. Ferino was charged and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment. Ferino will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Crystal A. Finstad, 23, and Christina M. Finstad, 59, both of Jamestown, were charged with petit larceny July 29 after officers responded to an local business where it is alleged Crystal Finstad and Christing Finstad allegedly took store merchandise and left without paying. They were issued appearance tickets to be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Natashia Rivera Rosario, 38, of Falconer was charged with third-degree criminal tampering on July 29 after Ellicott police responded to an ongoing neighbor dispute where it is alleged Rosario allegedly tampered with a security camera lens owned by another person. Rosario will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Richard A. Bentley, 50, of Celoron was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI blood alcohol content of .18 or higher, failed to yield right away/ emergency vehicle, failed to stop at a stop sign, failed to keep right, and driving across hazard markings on July 31 after police officers tried to pull a vehicle over and the driver led police on a chase. Bentley allegedly failed to comply and stop when police activated emergency lights and sirens. Bentley was allegedly seen driving erratically on the road and failed to stop at a stop sign with police behind him. Bentley will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Ronald S. Caldwell, 61, of Bemus Point was charged with petit larceny on July 28 after Ellicott police responded to a shoplifting in progress where it is alleged Caldwell walked past the point of sale with unpaid merchandise owned by Wegmans. Caldwell will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
