CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
-- CHAUTAUQUA -- The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of a vehicle complaint on Route 430 around 5 p.m. Friday. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop and identified the operator to be Jack E. Wyant, 21, of Kennedy. Following an investigation, Wyant was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, speed in zone, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He will be in town court later.
-- STOCKTON -- At 12:54 a.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Bloomer Road. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Kristian M. Wright, 25. After further investigation, Wright was found to be operating the vehicle without a license, and in possession of narcotics. Wright was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to participate in the Centralized Arraignment Program. Wright was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and other traffic tickets.
-- BROCTON -- At approximately 5 p.m. Friday, Barry A. Wells, 58, allegedly punched an individual in the face on Ellicott Road. He was issued a ticket to be in town court later to answer to a second-degree harassment charge.
-- PORTLAND -- Just after 6 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to 8265 Route 380for an altercation. It was determined that the suspect, Jessica Betts, 43, had allegedly struck and caused physical harm to another subject at the residence, as well obstructed the breathing of the victim all in the presence of a child. Betts was charged with second-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and endangering the welfare of a child. Betts was placed into custody and transported to county jail for arraignment. She will be in the Town of Portland Court later.
Fredonia Police Department
-- Lenny Vega Jr., 19, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
-- Jamie Prime, 31, of Fredonia, was arrested Aug. 23 and charged with second- degree harassment and criminal contempt.
-- April Ramos, 39, of Westfield, was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with third- degree attempted assault and second-degree harassment.
-- Melissa Pasquale, 31, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 27 and charged with trespass.
-- Augusto Alonzo, 22, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 27 and charged with driving while intoxicated, tampering with evidence, and aggravated driving while intoxicated (blood alcohol content .18% or higher).
-- David Marshall, 19, of Glen Aubrey, was arrested Aug. 28 and charged with petit larceny.
-- Steven Beebe, 43, of Fredonia, was arrested Aug. 29 and charged with second-degree criminal contempt.
-- Erik Furlet, 22, of Gowanda, was arrested Aug. 29 and charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with blood alcohol content of .08% or higher.
-- Peyton Moreland, 25, of Cheektowaga, turned himself in on a warrant Aug. 29 and is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction of breathing, and second-degree harassment.
-- Anushkka Carrion, 25, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 29 and charged with petit larceny.
-- Gary Toner, 48, of Silver Creek, was arrested Aug. 29 and charged with third-degree criminal tampering and criminal mischief.
-- John Phillips, 37, of Fredonia, was arrested Aug. 30 and charged with third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, and harassment.
-- Samuel Baez Jr., 24, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 30 and charged with second- degree aggravated unlicensed operation
-- Harlee Conklin, 21, of Dunkirk, was arrested twice on Aug. 31. He received charges of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation both times.
--Todd Green, 41, of Irving, was arrested Sept. 1 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while impaired by drugs.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
-- Jasmine N. Calloway, 41, of Falconer, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.
At around 2:06 a.m. Monday, officers responded to a residence in the West side of Jamestown for a reported order of protection violation. Upon arrival officers located Calloway inside of the victim’s residence. There is a valid stay-away order of protection in place for Calloway to stay away from the victim and his residence.
Calloway was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where she was held pending arraignment.
