JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Eliel Rodriguez, 31, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday after officers on a STRIVE domestic violence detail responded to a residence on the south side of Jamestown for a reported domestic dispute. Rodriguez was allegedly involved in an altercation with another person in front of multiple children that reportedly caused the children to be visibly upset and endangered their welfare. Rodriguez was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Jasmine N. Calloway, 41, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 4:15 p.m. Monday after officers conducting a walking beat near the Riverwalk Center in Brooklyn Square saw Calloway walking in the area knowing she had active arrest warrants issued by Jamestown City Court. Calloway was also allegedly in possession of methamphetamine. She was taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned on both felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants.

– Victor M. Cruz, 46, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 6 p.m. Monday after officers pulled a vehicle over for an alleged moving violation. Cruz was allegedly violating a valid stay-away order of protection with a passenger in the vehicle. Cruz was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

– MAYVILLE – Claudia Sanchez, 44, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday after deputies responded to a reported fight at 2 Academy St., Mayville. Sanchez was taken to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for processing and then to the county jail for centralized arraignment. She will be in Chautauqua Town Court later.
