Jamestown man petitions for return of weapons

A Jamestown man is asking the state Supreme Court to return firearms seized during a domestic violence investigation in 2025. Antonino Miceli Jr., who is representing himself in court, is asking the judge to have the Jamestown Police Department return weapons belonging to his son, Brock Miceli. A temporary order of protection was issued in the case by Judge George Panebianco. Lindquist, 35, of Dunkirk was charged March 15 with operating a motor vehicle with no taillights, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, and aggravated DWI. Officials said, at around 2:40 a.m. deputies were on routine patrol in the town of Pomfret. JAMESTOWN — Jamestown police officers are investigating a shooting Thursday that caused a lockdown at two city schools. According to a police report, at 1:24 p.m. officers responded to Crescent and Buffalo streets for a report of shots fired and found that a person forced their way into an occupied residence armed with a shotgun. During the incident the person fled the home, firing the shotgun and hitting the side of the home before fleeing the scene. According to officials, at about 7 p.m., deputies responded to a business on Vineyard Drive in the town of Dunkirk for a shoplifting complaint.
