Fredonia Fire halts burn of construction materials The Fredonia Fire Department put out a Wednesday afternoon fire on Lambert Avenue. Initial reports from people passing by on the street around 1:43 p.m. indicated that a shed at 42 Lambert was on fire. However, according to Fredonia Fire Chief Josh Myers, “it was a resident who was burning a large pile of construction materials.” Myers said his firefighters extinguished the fire “and we were in service 30 minutes later.” There were no injuries reported.
