ELLICOTT POLICE - Shane E. Waite, 27 , of Ellicott was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of third-degree criminal mischief and three counts of second-degree unlawful imprisonment on Tuesday after Ellicott police responded to a disorderly person call where it is alleged Waite was disorderly and began assaulting other people. It is also alleged Waite destroyed several other pieces of property, as well as blocking the doorway to the house preventing the people from reaching juveniles and leaving the residence. ...

Dascenzo, 67, of Canfield, Ohio, was charged with failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated at 11:33 p.m. Sunday after deputies pulled a vehicle over in the town of Chautauqua. Dascenzo was charged, processed at the Sheriff's Office and released with appearance tickets. - Natacha J. COLLINS — A Brooklyn man serving with the National Guard is facing charges after being found in possession of contraband while attempting to enter the facility. Drayton, 22, of Jamestown, Lisandra Rodriguez, 32, of Dunkirk and Cesar L. Rodriguez, 28, of Dunkirk face charges after officers responded to 309 N. Main St. for a reported fight. Police report arriving to find several people fighting outside of the bar. Officers began separating individuals in an attempt to disperse a growing crowd.
