Dunkirk native Ed Mikula and partners recently signed a lease for a 9,000 square foot, two-story French restaurant and Cabaret (ALLO! MON COCO) located on the Las Vegas strip. The $7 million restaurant will be located in the LINQ (The LINQ – Caesars Entertainment, www.caesars.com/thelinq); a new open-air retail, dining and entertainment district being constructed by Caesars Entertainment Corp in Las Vegas, Nev. The LINQ is anchored by the world’s tallest wheel (550 ft.) known as the “High Roller.” The Linq, a $500 million project/development, is the largest construction project on the strip since the recession.

The LINQ project boasts approximately 300,000 square feet of retail and entertainment offerings as well as 18 various restaurant and bar operations occupying approximately 200,000 square feet of the available space. It is located at the midpoint of the Strip Corridor known for the highest density of hotels and visitor traffic. The LINQ Wheel attraction being developed is projected to attract 17,000 paid riders per day. An additional 18 acres is being earmarked for monthly concerts, fights and festivals projected to attract tens of thousands of visitors.

This one-of-a-kind location is the first milestone to be achieved by the partners of ALLO! MON COCO and is expected to open by late spring 2014. The restaurant will seat 260 and will feature French food (with a twist) and a full downstairs Cabaret bar. When open, it will employ 160 workers. Plans call for opening five more restaurants in Las Vegas within the next five years.
