A new liquor store recently opened at the corner of Routes 20 and 39 in the town of Sheridan. The business, Sheridan Liquor & Wine, features wine from local wineries. Owner Kathleen Greene of Forestville explained she used to drive by the empty storefront often and eventually decided it was time to enter a new business endeavor. The liquor store will include wine tasting and lottery tickets as amenities in the near future. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
